There ain't no place like Home for the Holidays.
After dragging my sorry, busted ass to work this morning and totally zombi-ing through the day, my Christmas vacation began.
I went into school this morning with nothing.
I came out with 4 books to read over break, a piercing migrane from students, and a bill from Rowan for $3,000.
Seeking refuge from home I remembered that my mother (who typically works during the day) had taken the day off...

I haven’t blogged in over a month.
I’ve started a new job in the admissions department in a vocational school. It’s a mostly administration-like position with a little special ed instrution sprinkled within. I am the youngest in my department by at least 25 yrs. And although the workload is way less and the pay is the same, I miss classroom teaching every day.
